The commercial Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a 20 year tariff provided by the government to encourage businesses to install low carbon technologies.
The following tariffs came into force on 28th May 2014. The non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive tariff for ground source heat pumps has been increased from 4.9p/kWh to 8.7p/kWh for the first 1314 operating hours per 12 months, the remainder is paid at tier two which is 2.6p/kWh. Air source heat pumps commissioned after 2nd December 2013 are now also eligible for the non-domestic Renewable Heat Incentive. Learn more about these changes here >>
